2020 GLS. 2017 450SL
tracking my new GL
My SA has told me my new GL has been made and is in transit. I have the VIN is there a way to track it in shipping?

DHL - that's funny.

There isn't a way to track it in shipping, but based upon where you live it's probably 1-3 weeks away.

Appreciate the input but all my SA will give me is the VIN. I don't have shipment information!

Mine was built 10/11 and I picked it up 10/16. Wouldn't your SA know how long it will take?

No real way to track
There is no way to track the car in transit-not like FedEx or UPS; just use deductive reasoning based on where you live and other input on here. From Alabama to me in NC took about 7 days.

Enjoy the buildup one of the best parts of a new "ordered" vehicle!!

Exactly..... sort of like good sex! Your dealer should be able to tell you when the vehicle is "released to carrier" based on the production codes. From that point the dealer should have a pretty good idea how long it takes before it arrives on the lot.
