Wiring positive and negative for Valentine V1 in GL450

Anyone know where to or what fuse I can "add a line" to for a V1 hardwire install? I couldn't find a ground either...

I wired mine into the ceiling console...(the panel will pivot down from the back of the panel by inserting a putty knife into the center portion of where the panel and headliner meet)...you are actually pushing up on a release switch.

upon opening.. I slid the wire between the headliner and windshield and fished it in. I then spliced into the two of the wires that were attached to the black plug. You can ground your black wire and test to get hot...and then do the same to find the ground wire... (one of the two wires was brown and I cant remember the other one)

the downside to this is that the unit is on all the time.. would have been nice to figure out which if any would simply become hot when the car is running.

hope this helps.
