PrePaid Maintenance

We have a very good German auto specialist here in Raleigh and I already use them for our Audi. I am merely trying to see if buying a package would be on par with what I would end up paying them. Its a decent shop, but if I can get Dealer service for a comparable price, I'd rather have that.

Indy are smart, they use similar pricing and formula. Maybe a little cheaper (labor rate) than the dealership, but you don't get free drink, car wash, and a free loaner.
Rather you take it to the dealer or Indy. If you want to save money, ask for oil change only on the next two services.

With MB you can always choose to "add" prepaid maintenance - your choice - and frankly BMW "adds" a whole lot more to their MSRP to give you "free" maintenance - I figure about $3500

We bought it for a 2016 GL350
If I was going in for a 40K B+++ and plan to keep either thru 50K or 60K - then a 2-pack thru 50K, or 3-pack thru 60K is a DEAL/DEAL.
With extended warranty this is a 7 year, 100K mile car (or better be) so we bit the bullet and did it. I imagine also prices might go up in the next 6 years (thinking we're 12-15K on this the family car, so about every 9 months or so we'll be in for a service).

3-pack
I recently purchased the 3-pack for my '14 GL550 - had about 40K on it at the time, so I will have the 40-50-60K services covered, paid about $1450. The 40K includes changing the brake fluid among other extended service requirements. I'm happy I got it, figure to save 25 pcnt or so on a car I intend to keep for some time (bought 100K warranty)

I took my 2013 GL450 in for the 70k service this past weekend. This is the last of my prepaid maintenance. When i asked the Finance manager if I could buy another prepaid maintenance pack for the 80k/90k/100k service, he said there is no prepaid maintenance available for me to purchase. Is this true?

It may be true...the finance manager at my dealer said that you can buy the last prepaid maintenance before 70K. In my case, I purchased prepaid maintenance when I bought the car. After completing the 30K maintenance, I purchased prepaid maintenance for 40K, 50K and 60K. I recently completed my 60K maintenance and the finance manager told me that I can still buy prepaid maintenance for 70K, 80K and 90K. He quoted me around $1800 and said that there is a premium of $300 after the 60K service.

Are the prices of the prepaid packages set by mbusa or are they negotiable? If negotiable, then any recommendations on which dealers have the best prices/discounts?

My understanding is that whatever pack you buy, you should be under 80k miles to be eligible for a purchase. I just confirmed this on mbusa site as well. Prices are somewhat negotiable, not a whole lot of wiggle room though. I recently purchased a 3pack for around 1300$ covering my 60k, 70k and 80k.
Per my understanding, your capability to buy ppm between 70k and 80k is dependent on your finance manager's willingness to go bat for you. This is what i was told by one of the finance managers, ymmv.

Can someone please provide a contact name and number/email for MB Austin that sold them the prepaid maintenance packages. I live in RI, own a 2012 E550.
At the time of purchase I bought 3 prepaid maintenance packages and Extended Warranty from west coast authorized dealership but they are not returning my emails at this time.
All prepaid that I have previously paid for when I bought the car have been used.
Thanks in advance,
Michael

Just an update...
So, the finance manager at the Dealer I originally purchased my CPO GL450 from finally said he could sell me 2 years of PPM for $1295. I didn't even respond back to him as I felt that was a slap in the face. I called another local dealer, also owned by Fletcher Jones, and they without hesitation sold me a 3 year PPM for $1400. I know its a couple hundred more than what others are paying, elsewhere in the States, but I'm fine with this price. It really puzzles me why the Finance guy at my dealer did not want to sell me PPM. He must know something about my vehicle...lol.
