3rd row headrests-automatic?

When my GL came in last month, the 3rd power seat function wasn't working and they had to do something to fix it. Or reset a code or something. This was before they prepped and went through it, but they had us come in to decide on Xpel film, mudflaps, etc. before official delievery.

Anyway, I haven't used my 3rd row much, and did the other day and for some reason I was thinking the headrest is supposed to automatically retract when folding flat. The manual doesn't specify if the headrest must be manually fold down. Just wanted to make sure that I don't have an issue since mine won't retract on their own. You have to jump in and pull them down, then push the button.

Mine doesn't go down automatically either.

A gaggle of MB's
Sounds like knowledgable dealer - mud flaps new gen GL doesn't throw up "much - especially from the front - nice cosmetic touch for the rear if they have correct flaps - Invisi-Bra material for additional protection, a hand-cut install with 3M Venture Shield is the top protection - computer cut "kits" are better done with Xpel to lay better but whether Xpel or 3M hand-cut by the right installer is much better since precut kits are not as nice of fit on all edges like hand-cut jobs.

3rd row headrest is manual up/down - "original" style headrest - without 2nd row EZ-Entry you have "original" style headrests too which are manual up/down - 2nd row EZ-Entry does lower headrests autoamtically but some owners have child-teen fitting issues with the revised "EZ-headrest" design.

Keep the beat !
