Is the dash higher on new GLs?

Few days back we test drove new Gl, my wife did not actually drive the car but sat in drivers seat and felt the dash was a bit higher than our 2007 gl. She is petite and is concerned about visibility. I think the dash is same height but her seat was not adjusted properly.

I have tried to compare online interior pics of the 2007 vs 2014 but hard to tell. There are no GLs to check out at our local dealer anymore and now that we have one on order wife is a bit worried.

Does anyone have any comparisons?

Thanks

Having had a 2007 , a 2011, and now the 2013…… I don't think there is any perceptible difference in the height of the dash on the current model ( I doubt that they increased it on the 14 over the 13 ) What IS different is that the Comand screen IS higher than the previous generation which gives the appearance of an overall "higher" dash. My wife is "short" and….. with the seat in the most awful high position ( by that I mean I could not get in the vehicle if you put 100 dollar bill down and said its mine if I could get in ) …..says there is no difference.

I'm down by Rochester, if I was closer you'd be welcome to sit in mine. I can't say I recognized any difference between my 2007 and 2013. The command display is higher in the dash for sure.

Same here. I'm a 5-7 woman and haven't noticed a difference in visibility or dash height.

Thanks Jim,
We were in Rochester yesterday to finalize our deal with MB of Rochester. Thanks for the offer, based on input from you and others, I think she is feeling a bit more comfortable.

Thanks again.
