Money Factor Reduction?

Money Factor Reduction?
So the Money Factor to lease a 2013 or a 2014 is the standard rate, .00225. What I know reduces the Money Factor is:
  1. Autopay (brings it down by .00010)
  2. Multiple Security Deposits (up to 10, bringing it down by .00007 per. cannot be combined with autopay)
  3. One Pay (brings it down by .00080)

Is there anything else? Considering the MF is so high, makes the deal on the car really unappealing.

I was wondering if those who've done multiple MB leases know any other trick, or something as a loyalty discount? THANKS!

I was told that you could qualify for the MB top tier (secret) MF rate which is a few points lower and you could combine it with multiple security deposits. I heard that MB Financial is very selective and just having a very high credit score does not guarantee you qualify. Multiple dealers confirmed this to me.

Your overall observation is right - MB leases are not as attractive as those of BMW unless you are shopping for E350.

Interesting, is that tier granted by MB or dealers? And is autopay reduction also applied to that?

It's at MB Financial's discretion, not the dealers. I am not sure about the autopay.

The other point you need to check is whether your state allows for multiple security deposits. They are not allowed in NY and my NJ dealer told me they could only offer it if the car is registered in NJ. What's strange about the second point is that there is no law in NJ requiring it, it's just something that MB enforces. I had no problem getting a BMW in NJ and registering it in NY with MSDs.

Im going in tomorrow to finalize my lease. I qualified for super preferred money factor and was told during a previous lease experience with MB, that I Could not combine super preferred MF and multiple security deposits. Anyone have any ammo that I can use to refute this?

That's incredibly low. I thought it was .00195.

Apologies, I was looking at promotional MF I had been quoted a while back. You are correct. .00195.
