USA 2014 GL350 Price

USA 2014 GL350 Price
Hey everyone, first of all nice to finally be a member here.
I just pulled the trigger on a new 350 bluetec. One thing I found weird was that the dealer was not discounting the vehicle one bit. I ended up buying it at MSRP but managed to get them to throw in a few extras (illuminated star, chrome package- around $700-800 in value I believe). They weren't even honoring discount programs like the Costco one. This was in Washington state.
Is this common for this vehicle? I've never seen a dealer so stubborn. They treated me like crap in other ways too, almost telling me to leave when I didn't have proof that I actually lived in the US with me. I left at first and shopped around because of how they treated me but sadly they had the only bluetec within 500 miles of me and I didn't want to wait the 4 months if I ordered.
