Problems with heated/cooled cup holders not working?

I have used mine maybe 6 times in the last 6 months since I have owned the car. Today I turned them on to keep my coffee warm, and then dropped off my son. I got back in the car and they no longer will turn on. Anyone had this happen yet? Every month it's something new that breaks in this car. Such a shame because I really love it.

The heated and cooled cup holders were not available for my 2013 GL but I do agree with your statement about something new every month. My GL has been in the shop far too often for minor and a few major issues and it's not yet a year old. Still I enjoy this vehicle more than any other I've ever owned. A real paradox for me.

I wonder if there is a timer on them? I have them on my 14 ML but have not noticed anything odd yet. Opening the driver door sit them off as a safety measure? Just been too cold to play with all the options so far.
