Question Rear Hatch Dimensions?

Haven't been able to find width and height dimensions for the rear hatch. Height is the critical dimension.

I have to store a wheel chair standing in folded position when there is anyone in the third row. I currently have a Buick Enclave in which the wheel chair fits with about a 1/4" to spare and want to compare.

What are the dimensions of the chair collapsed?

I just measured the rear hatch as follows:

width at floor level: 45 inches
depth at floor level: 19 inches (rear of upright third row seat to front of closed hatch)
depth at top of third row seat back: 10inches (from rear of third row seat to front of closed hatch)

If you expect to have the row seats raised and occupied by passengers, those dimensions are pretty much it. Maybe 11 inches at the top of the third row give or take the curved surfaces.

If the third row can be up, but not for passengers (and nobody is going to enjoy that third row too much unless they're 12 years old or younger) maybe just touch the raise/lower button a flew blips and angle a seatback forward a few degrees, well, there's a lot of room and flexibility of cargo space.

If that's not sufficient info or if you think it might be a bit tight, I can upload some pics. if you want to give me the dimensions of the chair, I can mock up a cardboard box with those dimensions (I have plenty of boxes due to my low grade Amazon addiction ...) and see how it fits.

Thanks YMMV. Another critical dimension is from the floor to the top of the entry way. In my Buick Enclave that dimension is just under 31" and the wheelchair, when folded and put in with the back on the floor, just fits. I will have to check the dimension from the top of the back seat to the hatchback.

I have a lot of Amazon boxes too. :-)

My wife has taken off in the GL for the day, so it will be later this evening before I can put a tape to the height. I think I took a photo, so I'll check the camera. In any case, the critical height would be from the floor of the cargo area to the roof liner since the chair could go in on an angle, and then stand up, depending upon the agility of the person(s) doing the lifting and juggling. If, as a matter of lifting the chair, it's necessary to rest it in the car on its wheels, then tilt the top in, that arc could be an issue for clearance inside the hatch, but the surrounding plastic trim doesn't seem to reduce the opening too much. Anyway, I'm happy to do the Amazon test. : )

From floor to the top of the hatch entry is 30.5" in my Enclave. Yes I could tilt the wheelchair if the dimensions were relatively close. So you can partially tilt the rear seats forward? that would be useful!
