TPMS

Anybody purchased and had success with NON OEM TPMS for aftermarket wheels or with your snow tire wheel sets? The OEM retail for $192 each so as you can imagine that is crazy. Please PM or post link to reliable and reasonable TMPS for X166. thanks in advance.

Tirerack.com has them. I paid around $220 a couple years ago.

Check with your local costco. They can order it for you. I paid 65$ each

A gaggle of MB's
I have used Oro-Tek TPMS sensors with no issues in similar situations.

You can also choose to google : Amazon Oro-Tek OSC-8214A - and then use that link place a Amazon product request there.

"Stock" Oro-Tek TPMS sensors, other Oro-Tek model#'s - for Amazon Prime members ship out like under $140 for a 4-set.

The OSC-8214A has a different "head angle" and slightly different "head length" than other Oro-Tek model #'s.

Just installed a set on a 2007 Porsche GT3 - no problemo.

TPMS sensors are powered by non-replaceable 5 yr+ lithium batteries - so TPMS replacement is a common issue for new-classics.

Beru is the OE supplier - but anyway you go with Beru is pricey - Oro-Tek no problems so far.

Will go with this brand again. I currently have them on my aftermarket wheels on my BMW and have had no problems so far. Thanks to all.
