Remind me about credit policy on extended warranty
I bought mine in December of 2012. So, I assume if I get my next one in November of 2016, I would be fine. I have low mileage.
Also, I would think it would prorate if I wait until I can get a 2017 model.
If you aplly for that refudn before your Mercedes is traded in - then the 100% refund will go to lienholder if you have a note on the MB, which will reduce your loan payoff balance.
If you apply for refund at the time the MB is traded in - then the refund check will go to you.
Processing time is a full 6 weeks in either case.
If you have "used" part of the Extended New Car warranty - in time, mileage, or claims - then things get a little more complicated - all dependent on the regulations of the state you live in.
If your state regulations allow - partial refund is prorated by remaining time or remaining mileage - whichever is less - and then less any paid warranty claims - again, if your state allows extended warranty refunds.
Keep the beat !
