About the 3-zone climate package

Does anyone know more details about this package?
How many air vents will be added in the rear cabin?
I have experienced with changing the cabin filter for my GLK.
I only need to change one filter at a time. I once heard someone mentioned you will get more filter for adding this package. I'm wondering does it mean I need to change two or even more filter for gl with 3-zone? Thanks.

8 total in the second row.

2 in front of second row middle seat
2 on foot rest area
2 beside rear doors.
2 on roof.

The roof ones only work for A/C

It depends. Looking at the operators manual it appears that MB offers different option packages in different markets.

For example...

...the first 4 vents listed above (2 in front of second row middle seat, 2 on foot rest area) are STD equipment in the USA so the 3rd zone only adds the side and roof vents if you are in the USA.

I had the filters changed out on my 3 zone recently because they were causing a bit of a smell. They changed both a "dust filter" and also "combo filter", so apparently there are two. Seems to have solved the smell issue.

The 3 zone option will ADD the B pillar vents for the second row, 2 roof vents for the second row, and 2 roof vents for the third row (USA spec cars).
