Foldable hard trunk liner for 2014 GL350?
Hey guys,
Trying to decide between the Canvasback trunk liner and this hard foldable trunk liner that was made for 2009-2012 GL series, but supposedly also fits the 2013-2014 GL - just need to add velcro strips to the back.

Anyone have any experience with this trunk liner on a x166? Does adding some velcro strips keep it in place even when the third row is up?
How does it compare to the Canvasback?
thanks,
-Jeff

If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have gotten it but that's because of my needs. I play golf and have a Stewart Golf electric push cart. Grass collects under the cart especially when the grass is damp/wet. The grass and water from the cart and my golf shoes will get all over the trunk without the cargo mat. However, even with the mat, grass gets in between the gap in the mat between the seats as well as the edge of the trunk since the mat doesn't totally cover the edges.
I should've gotten the regular non folding mat with a lip around the edges. That's what I have in my X5 and the trunk doesn't have one blade of grass back there. I haven't used the third row yet but if I need to, I'd just temporarily remove the mat.

I have the folding version.. it works ok but ultimately not as good as the solid one will..
I have two 110lb Black Russian Terriers and they travel with us all the time. I usually have to realign them from time to time as my luck with the Velcro hasn't been very good.
