Distronic availability on gl450
Hello fellow mercedes owners/enthusiasts. I'm interested in knowing when distronic and presafe became available in any of MB's suv's. I'm very interested in this feature for its roll in safety for my family. I'm on a limited budget and there's no way I could ever possibly buy a new MB SUV so I'm looking at used but need to know when MB started putting this option on their suv's. Thanks

The GL has been around since 2007 (the X164 model). You are in the X166 forum, so might be better to ask in the X164 forum.
That said, I think presafe was there from the start. I also remember an early adopter of distronic, not distronic plus.
