AC wont turn off even after killing engine
I have a 2013 GL550 and the AC won't turn off even after turning the vehicle off. The problem is inconsistent but when it happens you can not make any changes to the AC from the control module (it's like it is froze stuck). After turning the vehicle off it would usually finally turn off about 15 minutes later. This is not the feature where the fan blows just to dry up the condensation it is something else. It drained my battery dead yesterday. After jumping it off I drove it to the dealership here is Houston and he is saying that he can not replicate the problem (because it is inconsistent as I noted above). Anyone else have this problem. Thanks in advance
Yes - climate control for '13's can get "crazed" - and frankly diligent shop effort would be to erase/reporgram the climate control as step#1 - then if problem reoccurs completion of Step#1 is requirement to go forward to Step#2 which is MB approval to replace climate control unit w/fresh programming.
Frankly, it if reoccurs you will need to "force" Step#1.
