My music register doesn't work

I drive a GL 450, 2011, I try to save my CD's in to the hard drive but I don't see the option "REC" on the screen, I have a 40GB the space free.

You can save only regular audio files, no mp3 files.

Can I burn a DVD audio disc?

I think it is utter non-sense to not transfer MP3 from CDs, memory cards, or whatever to the music registry easily.

Who still plays regular audio Cds?

Not sure you have that option in the x164 (btw... You are in the wrong forum)

It is a pretty easy affair on my car to record.
