2016 Mid-Cycle Refresh
I test drove a 15 Yukon XL, a 15 Denali XL, 15 Sierra and 15 ESV.
The 15 Sierra drove the best out of all of them. GM has not adapted the magnetic suspension well to these trucks. My 2008 ESV was certainly a smoother riding truck.
I couldn't get the wireless charging to work with my iPhone 6- and the dealer was of no help.
I also couldn't believe how much they killed the storage area by raising the floor for the third row. GM needs to get out of the 80's and dump the rear solid axle. Ford did and proved an independent can take the weight.
I really wish they still made the Avalanche. It was the most versatile truck I've ever had- I'd get one in a heartbeat just to have around...
Let me send you a PM so that this don't get off topic.
Surely it would look like we had an actual iPad or something stuck on the screen and thieves would break in to steal the tablet?
But it did not take long before it looked natural and there are now so many cars with a similar look and the displays are not a target for thieves.
There are two choices for display. Lower and with touch but it requires taking your eyes off the road, or as high as possible before blocking outward view, with separate operation by lower level controls with tactile feedback on the controls so you are not looking down at the controls.
I think they both have a place. Touch screen is so flexible but requires too much attention on the move. I have come to appreciate the high up tablet style display for anything that may be done on the move. Once you get used to it, you appreciated it.

On that note, has anyone considered or put a deposit down on a Tesla Model X, I have! Due 2016, my GL63 will be approaching 3 then so a reasonable time to swap.

This is the interior photo, and yes, this is what the mid-cycle refresh will look like for GLS:

Bigger Wheel Base and Slotted rotors in both Front and Rear..I like the rims though.

5. A new interior color choice
6. Black Ash or Carbon-Fiber dash finishes
When do you think the details (prices, specs, options, builds, etc) of the 2016 GLS will be released?
When do you think they will start taking orders?
When will 2015's become scarce?
Thanks!

I saw people making orders in March for August delivery. I think you can order your car and specify details of the order couple months later when all details and pricing available.
Talk to your dealer to get more info. Also, forum member Fabbrisd1 is working for MB and can help.
IMHO, it probably does not help that the '16 will be refreshed so I'd suspect you are not the only customer out there waiting for the new one to pull the trigger or trade-in.
My 2015 was due in May but will wait till about September for the 2016. Dealer thinks 2016 will be about $1,000 to $1,500 more than the 2015's MSRP and will add that once he gets final pricing details.
