I just purchased a 2013 GL450 and had a couple of questions. The car has the keyless go option (part of premium 2 pkg) however there is no silver button, just the standard key/ignition slot. I know the cover comes off, but some of the ones I've seen on line look a bit different than the one I have. Is it possible to have keyless go without push button start? Do I just need to order a cover and then it will work? If so should I buy one off eBay or just hit the dealership?
Question 2 - the car has the appearance pacakge - but I don't see any illumination on the running boards - could it just be not working or is there a way to turn it on and off.
I have attached the car's window sticker for reference. Thanks in advance - I'm sure I'll be on here with more questions, being the newb I am. I've already learned a ton browsing these forums.

Cool thanks - I bought it from a private party - $56K - 15,400 miles - be hard pressed to know the car wasn't new, just immaculate. Think I scored a pretty good deal. The car also has the factory DVD tv system in the back that was added after purchase and not on the window sticker.
As stated above, the button just pops out and is not coded to the vehicle so a genuine MB button from fleabay should work fine.
The illumination for the running boards and other settings are controlled from the center dash display. IIRC it's listed under settings but just scrolling through the menu is pretty intuitive.

On the illuminated running boards.....just know that they illuminate ONLY upon initial entry and then again on shutdown and exit....they DO NOT remain on when exterior lights are activated.....they are solely for entry and exit.

thanks - That might be my problem. Do the headlights need to be on or does it have to be dark to activate them?
