Pre-paid maintenance Purchase

I am new here and already received invaluable information from members - so thanks in advance for anyone taking the time to reply. I'm considering purchasing a CPO 13GL450 w/ 10K miles and thinking about maintenance costs going forward. I have never owned a MB, so a bit concerned about costs (already seeing a bump of $600 in annual insurance rate from Geico (bump from old MDX).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I too have Geico, but I didn't notice the bump although I went from a 2012 MB GL350 to a 2015 GL350. I am paying about 900 / 6 months. I did the prepaid maintenance, but the dealer gave it to me for half retail. I paid 500 over invoice for the car I wanted so the deal made sense to me. MB are not cheap to own, but would never go back to an Acura or Lexus.

Hi Philfna,

I am also considering for Pre-Paid maintenance for my 15, GL550 I just bought a week ago, can you please let me know how much you paid for, and as MB has changed the trans service from 40kmiles to 70kmiles is there any pre-paid maintenance plan which go longer than 4 years?

If you got the Pre-Paid maint for half the price I would say it is still a good deal.

I did bought the Extended ELW warranty though 7YR\100K miles for $2950.00 and I guess that was a very good deal.
