'15 GL450
CEL...here we go
'15 GL450 with about 3k miles. Check Engine Light came on. Did the usual dummy check-opened the fuel cap and re tightened. The light went out for a day. It came back on, so took it to the dealership. They checked for leaks in the fuel system and everything checked out okay. They updated the "engine control module software". I drove it home this morning. The CEL came back on a few hours later. Taking it in again tomorrow. I hope we didn't get a lemon.

I went through a similar episode with my 07 450......turned out to be some sort of sensor device, but I can't recall specifically what it was.....of course that was a different engine than what you have, but I do know that they were able to trace it through the codes that were recorded. It would seem to me that your tech should be able to do that pretty quickly....good luck and Merry Christmas!

Oh no, not the holiday CEL
Maybe this is an issue with Christmas. Many engines get lonely this time of year and simply request attention. Next time, just open the hood and pat the ECU.
