2015 GL450 - Missing iPod cable?

2015 GL450 - Missing iPod cable?
Hi all. Just took delivery of my wife's '15 GL450 last week (replaced our '12 GL450).
I noticed it is missing the iPod hookup cable. This truck has P1 which includes:
518 : Media Interface
049 : iPod/MP3 Media Interface Cable
The dealer says the cable is no longer included since you can now play audio through Bluetooth. That doesn't sound right to me. I have an iPod Classic with thousands of songs w/o Bluetooth.
Can you guys please confirm if your trucks came with the cable? I want to make sure before I give them a hard time about it.

2012 BMW 550, 2015 GL63
We picked up our 2015 GL63 in October. It too did not have the iPod cable. I believe my wife utilizes Bluetooth. When she returns home, I'll double check. I'm not sure our 2013 GL550 had the cable.

I Picked my 2015 GL550 last month and it did had IPhone5 USB Cable....No Aux cable though like old models had, either way I got some cable with the car..If you go hard 
on the dealer they might give you one.
And last resort it hardly cost 20 - 40 bucks on Ebay.

My theory/part number?
I think any one that came without a cable has had it stolen or removed by salesman to give to customers of older vehicles which have the useless (to most) non-lightening cable.
My 14 came with the 30 pin, useless to me...does someone have a part # for the lightening? Would like to order since the regular use jack produces an error msg on the phone.
Just hit 8k yesterday on my 350...loving every minute.

FWIW, we have a '14 with the stock Mercedes 30-pin cable.
Using the official Apple Lightning to 30-pin Adapter works perfectly with both an iPhone 5S and 6. I've heard of issues with generic adapters (e.g. error messages).

My 2015 350 came with the lightning connector version too but I actually wanted the 30 pin version for my classic iPod. I had too much music on a 64GB SD card for the system to handle and BT audio volume is too low in volume even with boost on (no problem with BT audio volume with same phone on my X5d).
Found one on eBay and made sure it was the version that would charge. Works great.

Hi is this a USB cable or the Media Interface cable that you all received? (For the connection outlet below the USB in the center console I assume) I received a USB cable and I'm thinking it should be a Media Interface cable instead.
