Is the Airmatic suspension covered in CPOELW

I can not find any verbage that specially states that the Airmatic systems is covered by the CPO ELW. Does anyone know for sure or had experience with this? I am thinking of purchasing the ELW from MB for 2 additional years with unlimited mileage. Based on our driving the end of the warranty would be right about 100,000 miles if we extended the base CPO by the 2 years.

Yes it is covered. I specifically asked about the Airmatic and was told it is covered. The CPO EW basically is an extension of your standard warranty. One of my shock was recently replaced under warranty.

A gaggle of MB's
Sorry, under CPO warranty shocks/struts are not covered - under new car wattnty, or extended new car warranty - yes, they are.

Also, replacing "1" shock is not enough - since other "side" most likely can fail soon.

Best to replace with Arnott - and since Arnott seemingly does not have mileage "plateau" for failure.

I doubt that because one of my friend recently changed left rear shock on his 2010 ML under CPO he bought extended 2 year CPO plan in Chicago.

Thanks

Shocks/struts are not included unless they are Airmatic struts, also known as "air suspension struts". Read the last item on #13 - Suspension. This is straight from my CPO ELW contract.

So they will cover the Airmatic in the GL but not ABC in the S, CL, and SL. That's the whole reason for owning a CPO with ABC. That system is horribly problematic compared to the GL's Airmatic.
