2015 GL350 Base Invoice Change?
Just sent this email off to my internet sales guy:
All the invoice prices for the options track with the invoice research that I've done except "104 Customer Ownership Training Charge" @ $40 for "NET PRICE" but nothing for MSRP seems odd. However, of greater concern is the $59,848 base invoice price as shown. Every single site Edmunds, Truecar.com, cars.com, NADA, etc, etc, shows a base invoice price of $59,148. It seems reasonable that the 2015 base MSRP increased from 2014 by $600 to $63,600 and the base invoice via pricing web sites ($59148) is also about +$600 for 2015. What does not seem reasonable is that the invoice you sent to me shows and additional $700, an increase of about $1,300 over 2014 while all the MSRP prices (base and options) and all other options invoice prices compare and seem reasonable. I'm hopeful that there was an error in compiling/printing the invoice you sent to me. Seems odd, I haven't seen or heard of any increase especially just in the dealer net price and not MSRP.
Any insight from the forum would be very much appreciated.

No - your Mercedes dealer did not "fake" a invoice - that would be a violation of Federal law.
Happy to hear you have a rig on the way - I would recommend you lighten up with pending excitement - that's the best part - so you can enjoy your Mercedes when it arrives..
Waiting on the train # and eta - It's through VPC and is reflected in the dealer inventory now - Yeee Haaa! Happy with the deal too. Invoice minus $2k USAA discount and tinting, door handle protection thrown-in. Also, gave me the top KBB trade in allowance on my Ridgeline. Very good folks to work with.
I appreciate your (and others too) input on the order a while back... very helpful...
