07 GL450 Alarm going off
Hi, everyone! Hope you can help! We purchased a used 2007 GL450 this past year and a few months ago the alarm started going off for no reason. My husband checked the SAM module, it appears fine. He disconnected the horn so we don't have to listen to that irritating sound, but the lights will still flash randomly and if it lasts for a while he then has to use the physical key to get into the car. Once he does this and sticks the key in the ignition, everything is fine. Any thoughts? The dealership wants to charge us $150 to run a diagnostic. I think that's ludicrous. Appreciate any advice!

You are posting in the wrong GL section, this is for 2012-2015 GL models.
Word of advice though, first thing I would check is the battery condition. Any automotive parts store can do it for free. A weak battery will sometimes throw the anti theft system into fits of rage.
