GL550 safety warning

GL550 safety warning
I have a new GL550 with about 2000 miles on it, I refused the MB On Star service and now when I start the car, a safety warning comes on, safety bull, I have onstar on my corvette but the two times I tried to use the MB service, I was meant with total incompetence.
The dealer says, they cant turn off and since it gives a safety warning, the value of the car is a no sale.
I spoke with an attorney and he said to check here before we do the three dealer fixes and use the lemon law, its a shame as I love the vehicle but will go to another brand if this can't be fixed.
Is there a way to get this warning turned off?

Thank you sir, every time you start the car a waning comes up on dash that says you may have safety issues or close to that. If you press OK on the steering wheel it goes off.
As soon as I cancelled MBRACE it appeared, I own this car not them and a buyer would have no idea what this is.

Thank you, will take to our normal dealer and see what they say.
She stopped at one out of town, guy took quick look and said, pay your MBrace bill, she was happy I was not there as I took this all the wrong way.

You guys are right, called my dealer car just needs update.
I guess the service writer was having a bad day when wife was out of town and stopped by local dealer. In fairness, he had no obligation to us as strangers.

But he did have an obligation! You are a Mercedes-Benz owner, and he is a service advisor at (presumably) an M-B dealer. How would he know you are a stranger? Not that it matters if you were - the vehicle was displaying a fault, you took it to a dealer and the advisor blew you off, from what you describe. I wouldn't be shy in letting M-B know how dissatisfied you were with that particular dealer. If you think that is too harsh, contact that dealer's service manager or general manager - they would want to know (I hope).

He never looked and he could see out of state plates, I'm sure.

I will give the guy benefit of doubt on this one but you do have a valid point.

Wife took it in yesterday to RBM, it was a radar sensor on right side that was going in and out.
Class A service, took about 2 hours and they offered her a car but she wanted to wait.
Just a great Dealership!
