2015 Year End Deals

What percentage or real dollars are current buyers discounting off the 2015 Gl's on dealer lots?
is there a significant upgrades or body styling between the 2015 GL350 and the 2016 GL350 as well as cost difference?

MY16 GL's have base price about $1k more than MY15. Not sure on discounts available on MY15 models. No differences in MY15 and MY16 of significance

Thanks!
When I ordered my 2012 GL350 several years ago I was discounted 11% off MSRP. Is 11% about what I can expect for ordering a 2016 GL in Ca. Bay Area?
It seems most buyers on this site are not willing to divulge the amount of savings they were able to negotiate on their vehicles and share with readers.
Why is that?

it may just be me, but 11% off MSRP on a MY16 that hasn't even released yet seems like a stretch

I just purchased a new 2015 GL 550. Got $7K off MSRP. Had to haggle but got a nice deal. You won't get that much off a 2016 model. The 2017 model year is due for a refresh (updated interior, nav screen, front headlights, bumper)

Good luck

If you can get GL at invoice or near invoice (+500) price - it's a good deal. If you are eligible for any additional fleet dicounts like ABA, AMA etc. - it should be deducted from near invoice price you negotiated originally. This way you will have the best price.

One year ago I ordered a 2015 GL 350 with MSRP of $84,300. Got 6.5% discount plus $2k fleet discount. Net MSRP = $76,820
At that time the dealer had a few model year 2104 GL 450's that could have been had @ 11% discount but were not equipped the way I wanted. If you are willing to settle for a 2015 now on the lot you should be able to negotiate a substantial discount.
