Headlights
Hello everyone! I just recently purchased a used GL40 and I have a few questions.
1. I am looking to buy bi-xenon headlights and it looks like it comes with bulbs but no control module. Other than this what else is needed? Will the person who installs have to do anything so the vehicle accepts the new lights or is it plug and play?
2. How can I find out exactly what equipment my vehicle has on it? The dealer that I purchased it from had no clue (thank GOD- price wise). Wanted to see if it was pre wired for the rear entertainment .
3. I am looking to change the steering wheel. Would like Designo (porcelain)to match the rest of the vehicle but I don't know where and if it can be purchased in the after market. I would be satisfied with the black ash wheel. Anyone know where I can find this?

There are TONS of threads dealing with headlight conversions, here's a current one:

Even that wouldn't blind oncoming traffic.
Swapping out the OEM projectors with true bi xenon projectors is probably the best way to go.
OP should find the lights he/she wants and then call 'the retrofit source' to buy the connection harness you need to wire up an OEM Bi-xenon housing with factory HID to your vehicles H7 harness.
