Hi, I have a 2015 GL550 and I tow a 6x12 enclosed trailer with it. When I hook the trailer up, the rear of the GL squats down and doesn't raise back up till I start driving away. Also, (and this is the main problem), when I try to disconnect the trailer, the suspension is still pumped up, and when I start jacking up the trailer, the truck comes with it, making it very difficult to un-clasp. I had a 2012 GL550, and it did the same thing. I've tried it with the truck off, and running. I also tried putting it in sport mode, to try and trick it to lower while I was disconnecting trailer. Any help will be appreciated.

 

Are you hooking up the electrical connector? that way the truck will know there is a trailer back there and to make the necessary adjustments. I tow my boat all the time and have no issues like you are describing.

 

I am, but it may be after I hook up the trailer. I will try hooking it up first. Thanks!
