Dashboard material?
Hello, Can someone shed some light on the material the GL dashboard is made of? It very much looks like and matches the leather on the seats (I got the leather upgrade), but I want to be sure.
I am going to clean and condition all leather. Don't know if I should put the conditioner on the dashboard, the center arm rest and door arm rest.
If it is not leather, any suggestions on what to apply to protect the dash from the heat?

I believe the dash uppers are MBTex in non-designo interiors. The doors should also be vinyl / MBTex. Not sure on the center console.
I use a good vinyl cleaner on my upper dash and a good leather cleaner / conditioner on the leather seats. No issues thus far.

SEATS – Whether your Mercedes has MBTex or premium leather – the best overall seat cleaner is made by Lexol called Leather pH Cleaner. Luxury fashion jeans – indigo blue – often rub off color onto lighter color seats. For best results to clean seat with Lexol pH Cleaner use a COTTON TERRY CLOTH – rather than microfiber exterior wash towels.
