Fog Lamp Switch
Can someone please explain what the fog lamp switch does in the GL (with lighting package, if it matters)? I was under the assumption the GL had fog lights, but when I press the switch during the day, it just appears to turn off the DLRs. At night, it doesn't seem to really have any impact on the lights. Is the switch for something other than for fog lamps? I didn't really see it mentioned in the owner's manual. Thanks in advance...

not to be picky, but that's actually the symbol for rear fog lights. Front fogs point left instead of right and have the hash marks pointing toward the ground. Rear fog symbol points right and has the hashes horizontal.
FWIW, I made the same mistake as you until I noticed that the illuminated symbol in the dash was amber and the rear fog symbol. Then I got out and looked at the back and there it was.
For cars I've owned, the front fogs have always illuminated in green for the front and amber for the rear.
