2015 GL 550 with 11,000 miles B Service

Since June 2015 our GL 550 has been "bullet proof" requiring no repairs other than the A service in 2016. The B service is expected in March 2017. In addition to what is recommended by Mercedes Benz, what would you recommend at the B service?

Apart from 50-100 Check\Visual Inspection which would cost you Arm & A Leg below are few items.

Oil Change.
Cabin Filter Replacement and or Dust Filter replacement.
Brake Flush.

I do all the above my self in 125-150 Parts only.

Its not a norm to take it to dealership for this service you can also take a quote from nice Indy guy and try them because B Service gonna cost you anywhere between $500 - 1000\1200 depending on the region\dealer.

Only Service I do and most people do at dealership is Trans Oil Change\Spark Plugs and warranty repair.

Good Luck.

Thanks

on GLC300 #2 (GL350 before those)
Second on avoiding dealer for routine maintenance, but you either then yourself need to source or know about filters and fluids so you get proper quality or totally trust the independent shop. I geek out on this, but to most folks oil is just black and it stains.
Plus, be sure to save records with parts and oil described to prove you met warranty requirements to maintain the car and to preserve its future resale value. If you don't document it then you didn't do it (even if you really did).

A gaggle of MB's
If you plan to own/hold for another 30K/3yrs - consider buying 3-pack Mercedes prepaid service - which will give you B-A-B -

Check with your dealer Service Adviser - prepaid service "should" get you brake fluid flush at both B's too.

Tricky little devil your dealer service dept - since at B/20K they would say when you came in "brake fluid manufacturer recommends brake fluid flush every two years - you will want to get that done/pay for that too, right ?"
