I have a 2014 GL 550. Bought it used a couple months ago. Everything looks great except the driver side Burl wood piece has a crack in the clearcoat. Is there anyway to fix this? Do i need to buy a replacement? Good source?

usually caused by seat belt., and I have seen posts of this site where they can be replaced under warranty.

Agree, i had a crack in driver door trim piece and replaced under warranty without any problem.

I have this issue too, asked this question here over a year ago and took it to a local dealer- they did not want to replace it under warranty, even after I called mb USA. Their excuse was that it was wear and tear and I caused the crack... when it was something I noted finding when I got the truck.
