Malfunction Message

Has anyone ever received a malfunction message for the air suspension? I just recently received one, so i went to take a look and the rear is not rising to a level point. I drove it home and it was extremely bumpy...to the point where i felt like i was in a low rider bouncing around. Any ideas of what may be wrong?

*I let it sit and restarted and would not return to normal rid height. I pushed the button to raise ride height and it was slowly but then it said the compressor was cooling...wtf.... so so frustrated.... Any ideas?

could be leaks in the lines pumping the air into suspension.... hence pump over working and eventually heating out.....

was talking to the manager when I got mine and he mentioned something like this.

@Prairie_huskie Do you think replacing the lines would help? What was the solution the manager provided for you? Im out of warranty so the dealer is out of the question.

The leak could be anywhere in the system. I would recommend a first opinion from at-least a 3rd party Euro repair shop.

the issue wasn't with my car...but some other car previously. I would second 4everalone to get it diagnosed first.... you may be lucky and could be a cheaper fix.

Typically a malfunction message means that the air compressor housing cracked if your air suspension is not sagging overnight. There is valve block that retains air in your air suspension. The ride will not be as firm as before but there is no leak. Air compressor is most likely your problem.

I took it to a shop that i trust. I had them check everything out for me. I ended up just replacing both air springs and the compressor for good measure.

I got the same error message on the dash and very bumpy ride. How many miles can you safely drive with this malfunction? Just wondering if I can limp the car around this weekend before bringing it in Monday morning.
