2014 GL550
Dash Squeak
I have a annoying squeak coming from the upholder area. I have a 2014 gl550. Anybody else have one of these? Is this a warranty issue? Seems like if i hold pressure on it it gets better. Don't see where i can put a shim in to make it stop. Thoughts?

it's a warranty issue according to my service advisor. When I did service B, I brought this up (2014 GL450) and they agree it squeaks and told me it is a known issue. They ordered the parts (some seal/tape and lubricant). I still haven't gotten it fixed coz' they are really bad in communications. It has been like 2-3 months. I emailed them multiple times but no reply. Mercedes asked after service B via email if everything was satisfactory and I said not and requested to get follow up from dealer, but no one called me.
I suppose I should pick up the phone and call instead of email
The squeak for me comes and go. It is more prominent when it is cooler out.

Funny i just took the car in for this same issue. The Dealer says they will replace the entire center console. It should be ready by Wednesday. Hope it solves this issue- to me it felt like metal against a chalk board.
