While changing the engine air filters and sweeping out pieces of leaves in the engine air filter housing, I noticed a hole was in my raw air line. I duct taped it up and ordered a new air line. I just installed it today.

I wonder how long I've been sucking in hot air?

My drivers side recently ripped and has now been replaced ($90). I also replaced my red intake to Turbo seal($6.00) because it was leaking oil.

I replaced my engine filters yesterday and mine were torn as well but today I have a check engine light that I haven’t scanned yet, is the cel on due to the torn ducts ?

I noticed the driver side was torn after I had it repaired at Dealer for leaking coolant. I used a thermal duct tape. No issues, tight seal. I'll replace them both one day. I'm sure there is a reason they are so dainty, but I like hard plastic intakes better. Never had one fail before.
