2nd Adaptive Systems Fail
Just turned 6,000 miles...
Driving along at 70ish with Distronic + on, accelerated to pass a slower group of under-pace cars, hear a hum from the driveline, then shuddering in the wheel, then slowing.
Switched off Dystronic, everything went quite.
Checked the service message display, says Adaptive systems not operative check service manual. All of them gave a similar message.
Manual says call dealer.
Dealer says needed a brake bleed, and old codes from 1st problem (new control module installed) were not cleared.
Could old codes not being cleared, or old brake fluid (due for B service this month), cause a problem?
