Changing rear diifuser on 450 2015

I just recently bought a 2015 GL450 and are not 100% happy with it's rear. I have one of those ones where the exhaust pipes are hidden like this one

does someone know how much it would cost to get it to look like this one, and does it only require adding mufflers or do you need a new exhaust system.

I'm confused? I didn't know they made a GL with no visible exhaust tips? I have a GL 350 and it has them. I think it would be super simple to add, just get the tips and they will mount right up. That tip anyway, has no exhaust connected to it. The muffler tubing is BEHIND the tip. Smart design, as the tips never get cruddy or discolored as the exhaust gasses drip out before the tips.

I too have this lower bumper cover. I saw in the "Panda Build Thread" where he replaced his stock tips with AMG tips: https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....9&postcount=30

I it appears that, should you and I want to get this look, we would need to replace the bumper cover so as to have the proper cutouts for the pipes ($735), the lower cover that also has pipe cutouts ($127), the lower molding (ditto) ($165), AND the tips. And then a good exhaust welder who's willing to cut the stock tips at the turn, extend a couple of inches, and add the AMG tips (or even stock tips)

Here's where I found those part prices (you'll want to select your own vehicle for proper fitment) https://www.mbpartsstore.com/auto-pa...-v8-gas-engine
