Airmatic: suspension stuck in Sport

Airmatic: suspension stuck in Sport
Hello all
this morning I jumped in the Gl550 and I saw an orange airmatic display. Everything else seems to be working fine except the vehicle would not raise and the suspension stuck in Sport only. I asked the wife, it’s her car, it’s been on for couple days. Car is a 2013 gl550.
I would take it to the dealer, but my R63 is there right now. Any help/lead would greatly appreciate.

I hd the same problem in my Ml320 it was diagnosed as the ais suspension valve. Its not an expensive part and there are good aftermarket ones. I currently have a 2016 gl 450 and same problem. The dealer said it was the valve and it fixed it. Its verry frequent with air suspension. I have had several problems with them in the recent past. Good luck !

Mercedes will not replace all 4 air struts unless there is an ongoing issue with the specific vehicle or if for some reason they need to goodwill something to repair a vehicle. Have you worked for a dealership and thought, well the car needs spark plugs because it is misfiring, i'll just install a new engine instead. Yeah, it doesn't work that way. Fix the issue, not throw an entire new system on it.
