annoying radio problem

annoying radio problem
Every so often, the GL350 speakers will cut out and no sound is coming out... I figured out that by resetting the sytem, the sound comes back but i lose all presets and bt connections...
but it's happening more and more frequently now.... sometimes after a reset, i get sound for like 2 minutes, then a scratch noise from the speakers, no more sound again....
by searching other MB model forums, it seems that by pulling the amp/radio/audio fuses and reinserting them, solves the issue.... what's the difference between doing that vs. the system reset??
anyone else experienced this problem? hopefully it's just a simple fix.... thanks!
