Easy to remove the side panel and remove bulb. Takes maybe 5min. Helps to have something to pry the panel from the top of the driver side. Don’t recall the pass side being hard
I swapped mine out with LED.

Another option over resistors is to just wire in a 1156 bulb socket and move the factory bulb to it and put the LED bulb in the factory holder. That’s what i have always done as simple and resistors have given me issues.

could you re-explain what you mean by wire in a 1156 socket? Just curious, as I've already replaced my halogen bulbs with LED with canbus and the 2013 model year uses a 1156 socket.

But to answer you get a 1156 or what size needed socket with wires and just tap into the stock wires to the bulb you are replacing. Move OE bulb to new socket and put LED in the OE socket.

I found these LED bulbs to be a perfect swap, no error code, no hyper flash, instant on and much brighter. 5 mins plug and play swap.

These were the ones I used about a year ago ... no errors ... at the time it was the highest lumens (~1,500) I could find that didn't give me error codes ...
