Radio Display When Playing SD Card

I've looked everywhere but can't find out what the hasmarked white lines and red line below the song title indicate. They change on each song.. width and distribution of white lines and location of the red line. The first pic below has no red line, but the one after does. Also found an interesting post on "glaowners" https://www.glaowners.com/forum/elec...icks-long.html but still no idea what that indicator is trying to tell me

Pretty certain the hash marks indicate each song in that playlist. so if you only had 5 songs, you'd see 5 hash marks. they get highlighted to the right each time you advance the track. As for the second screen with the red line, not seen that in my 2014 MY before (I don't think).

Thank you for the reply. I don't think that's it though. The spacing between the hashmarks indicates something by the way it varies for a song (see the second pic), and I don't have any play list on that card. The red line moves as well, so that must mean something.

I think it is duration of the song or a play list. I noticed on a podcast that the red mark was at the end when the pod cast ended

Nope. The red line is in a different position for each song and does not move... and again.. the hashmarks are not related to a playlist since I have no playlist at all, and they hashmarks spacing is not consistent as in the first picture.. that picture is the exception.. most hashmarks are spread out unevenly and not necessarily related to the red line.

That display is saying something about the current song. It changes for each song and is always the same for each song. Nothing to do with a playlist. I thought perhaps it was BPM indicator, or sound level or something else specific to a song, but haven't seen any of that hold true. Thought maybe somehow related to "equalizer" setting in the track or something, but don't notice that either.

There must be some document somewhere explaining this!
