Is there a how to video on rear pad replacement on a 2016 GL450?

I'm going to be a grammar **** here and tell you that it is "brake" pads, not "break" pads. Although you might actually "break" something if you undertake this job by yourself without experience, at which point you'll need to take a "break" and let somebody knowledgeable take on the job. Have you tried YouTube?

Pretty simple diy.

there are some videos on you tube, but they may be ML’s or GL x164’s. However, they give you a good idea of what’s going on with the instructions. Don’t forget the e break (haha) sequence that must be done on the dash.
