2015 GL550 USB to RSE video playback

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to use the USB port in the glovebox for video playback to the rear seat entertainment system? I have tried various videos formats (always 720p) like AVI, WMV,MP4,M4V but Command always end up with the error no playable file. Any tips or pointers is much appreciated. The USB thumb drive is formatted with FAT32 at 16GB capacity.

The screens have an Aux jack on the side which i think may allow an external drive but Ive never tried it myself on my 2013 GL63

There’s actually a video AUX inside the center console that’ll show up on the front screen and then you can direct it to the rear ones. You’ll just need a special RCA cable to connect it. And you’ll need to unlock video in motion for the front screen so you can watch while you’re on the go.
