Tail Lamp Removal - work instruction

Hi guys, need to replace the left outer tail lamp on a MY18 GLS450. Any insight? Im relatively handy, have the tools and the replacement part...just wanted to see if anyone had any guidance which might make the process go more smoothly. thank you

Turns out this job a lot easier than i thought. 15 mins and done. Surprised and delighted

are you talking about a GL or GLS? because the GL has a bulb in the back and the GLS has a led brake light? slightly confused here

Thanks!

Remove the panel with the net on it. Push down from top and should easily pop off to give you access to the nuts holding taillight in.

GLS 4th450. 2020

20 GLS 450

I am in need of new headlights as well as taillights. I want to replace them myself but online it says I can only have a dealership replace my broken ones. Can I do this myself and if so what do I need? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. All four light have malfunctioned with various errors on dash. All have condensation in them and have a crack that just appeared several years after I purchased my SUV.
