GLS450/550 - experience with car seats?

Looking to get GLS450/550 and read somewhat negative reviews re use of car seats in 2nd row. The message was not to get power-folding 2nd seat option.

My kids are 7 & 9 and are using booster seat - still 5 harness but moving to seat belt version soon.

Any experience to share? Any issues with kids my age and car seats in 2nd row? I don't expect to use 3rd row too much - but it will happen (bring kids friends, relatives visiting, etc..).

Thank you
Aleks

ours are 7 and 6 and they are on boosters (using car seat belts already), they absolutely have no problem in terms of comfort or fitting. the headrests are pulled up (our car doesn't have the easy entry).

when we first got the car the younger one was still on full car seat and we had no problem as well. we could either pull out the head rest completely, or we just click it higher. as long as it is high enough (or removed) so the highest point of the car seat / booster can lay flat on the back of the seat you are fine, and obviously it worked in our case (graco car seat)

If you have a tall forward facing convertible car seat you may have some problems with the head rest pushing the top of it forward. With boosters I have had no issues what so ever.

For the five-point or high-back boosters, I remove the headrest and reinstall it backwards. That way the headrests are not loose. I just have to remember to reverse them when I pull out the child seat for an adult. I was glad I had discovered the issues inherent to the easy-entry seats and chose not to order them.

Does anyone have pics of what booster (think 7-9 year old) fits with either non-easy-entry and with easy-entry? Seems like booster seat head support would be getting very close (or overlapping with) headrest. Also seems that with non-easy-entry or with modified-easy-entry everything would be OK even with headrest in there as long as it is raised and moved rearwards....

Thanks
