Please help with identifying correct brake parts for front

Hi All,

I searched and found threads but not with part numbers.

I have a 2013 GL450, build date December 2012, and VIN Is 4JGDF7CE5DA168857. My front rotors are cross drilled and my truck came with the appreance package with 20" wheels.

When I look up EPC for the front brakes, I get A166-421-09-12 for rotors, and 007-420-09-20 for pads. . However, I can't find anything with these part numbers. For some reason, the part number for pads come up as 008-420-00-20, which I think replaced 007-420-09-20. And, when I look up A166-421-09-12, they come up as just being vented, and not cross drilled.

Can someone tell me the part number for cross drilled rotors (and is this 373mm or 350mm?) .

I'm also thinking of going with EPC drilled/vented rotors and TEXTAR pads but am not sure which EPC size rotors to get.

please help so i can order parts, the wear sensor light came on.

Thanks,
Maneesh
For pads, I'll go with 008-420-00-20.

Your car has 375mm front rotors.

My car is also December 2012 and has appearance package with 20" wheels and cross-drilled rotors. I went with Zimmermann rotors and Meyle pads:

Thanks - but here is what I find confusing. The ebay Ad says that this set is for GL's with the sport package P31, up to A174198. My VIN falls under that. But what is the AMG sports package P31? Is that the same as the appearance package?

The rotor part number in the ebay listing matches the part number I have from EPC though.

Thanks,

yeah, no idea how the P31 relates to the US "appearance package", but can confirm that the rotors are identical to the stock rotors on my GL. So much so, that I think Zimmerman is the OEM supplier, as even the irregularities in drill pattern are exactly the same
