Hello all,
Added a 2014 GL 450 to our family to join our 2015 2500 Sprinter van. Very happy to have the luxury adult car, with only occasional kid duty. They can spend their time in the Van.
Anyway, about 50k on the GL, great shape, brakes, tires new, Mx up to date, but have a little rattle from the front left strut. Local indie found a small hole in the bag, so probably looking at replacing both. I know there have been other Arnott vs Mercedes OE threads, any opinions specific to the GL? I 'd hate to ruin the great ride, and like to keep it as close to original as possible. Any feedback appreciated, thanks!

Put Arnotts on my E55 no issues and great warranty if evere needed.
I put Arnotts on my last Gl (2008). I did both front struts and rear air bags. They were great, Road perfect, no issues at all. I had them on for approximately 100k before I got rid of the truck at 200k miles I would not hesitate to buy from them again at all.
Thanks all, as long as the performance is the same, I'm in. 815 for new ones vs 500 for rebuilds with great warranty sounds good to me. Just love the way the GL drives and wouldn't want to compromise that. Look forward to contributing in the future.

If you want to go with the oe Bilstein purchase them from fcp euro. They have a lifetime replacement warranty if it ever fails. Originally Posted by icarus74
