GL450 front brakes upgrade

Sooooo.... after reflashing the car with this pretty OE Tuning software, the car runs like bat**** crazy, but doesn't stop that well anymore go figure
While rotors looked fine before the reflash, I managed to overheat them few times and now they are warped and high speed braking sounds like I have square wheels. I think the rotors can still take a beating from a fresh set of pads, but I will most likely replace both rotors and pads.
Question is: has anyone used the Zimmermann Z coated rotors for the front? I have the 375mm drilled version. And if so, what pads have you paired them with? I am looking into some Hawk HPS or HP+

What's everyone using here?

I don’t know about the front brakes upgrade other than switching to gl63 brakes but you should consider the Renntech Brake kit with lines they should do the trick I know exactly what you mean and been there since then I upgraded to their kit no issues stopping now it locks up when needed.

Brembo supplies the OEM rotors.

I just replaced all 4 of ours as the front was warped with Brembo directly and Akebono pads. Issues resolved. Total was $600 or so for all rotors and pads. Buddy from the factory installed for fee.

I ended up installing Hawk HPS 5.0 pads. Not OMG amazing, but much better than the OEM pads.

What do you mean by better than OEM? Less dust? Because OEM pads will have better bite than any after-market pad.

Funny thing is that I see all kinds of complaints about how dusty the OEM pads are. Honestly, I've never had an issue with dust with the OEM's. Not sure if that's because of the color of the OEM wheels or the ceramic coating on them.

Better than OEM for MY USE! Yes, initial bite is less than OEM when they are cold in the morning, but after 3-4 stops, they warm up to temp and the braking is more consistent at higher temps. Meaning that spirited driving will not make them overheat and fade and smell, like the OEM were doing. I have not cared much for the dust and I don't see a problem with Hawk or OEM dust yet.
