2013 GL450 aromatic relay Location
I have searched high and low for the location of the airmatic relay. All of the diagrams shows the fuse locations but not the relay. I am replacing the compressor and relay. Any help would be appreciated.
Can someone indicate the actual relay for the airmatic on x166? Thanks

Haha!!! Yes, the Airmatic relay. Autocorrect got me.
i had a collapsed rear airbag, so I replaced the bags but still had a malfunction light. So, I purchased a new compressor, filter, airmatic relay and 40amp fuse. The compressor and filter were a very easy install. I replaced to Fuse but for the life of me I can not find anywhere the location of the airmatic relay. I pulled the relay at the “M” location in the fuse box with no luck. Malfunction light still comes on.
i just need to know which relay is the airmatic.

Aromatic relay
The relay is the grey color on top of the fuse box. Just below the Red (+) wire and the the left of the two big fuse. Btw one one of the big fuse is the Airmatic fuse also.

I am trying to replace the rear suspension airbags with Arnotts. however, I can't get the 40 AMP orange fuse out. The transparent plastic cover popped off when trying with a needle nose plier. The gray relay looks easy to remove. Can I do that instead. This should disable the compressor correct? Trying to move the plastic tab on the fuse is tough, but even after that, I think any more pressure would break the orange plastic housing around the fuse.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Might have some light corrosion underneath, try spraying it with a Contact Cleaner of some sort.
CRC makes a bunch of electric cleaners;
CRC® 2-26® Multi-Purpose Precision Lubricant,
CRC® Contact Cleaner 2000® Precision Cleaner
CRC® Lectra Clean® Heavy Duty Electrical Parts Degreaser
Or any manufacture of electric cleaning products, this is just what came to mind since I have a few of those in my garage.
