In the fuse box under the hood. There are several open fuse areas from 222 through 228. They take a different sideways fuse connection. My question is whether anyone knows how 222-228 slots of the fuse box are powered? By that, I mean are some always hot, powered at ignition on, powered when lights are on? I don't have any way to measure when the voltage or a partner to help me anyway.

Why I was wondering, if you are interested in the back story...
The previous GL450 I had for 2 months was totaled by someone running a stop sign. It had the shinning star. I took the back lit emblem off of the grill and finally got to putting it on my replacement 2015 GL450 (9 months later). The wiring was run into the engine compartment fuse box to one of those spots (222-228). I took a picture before removing it, but the picture seems to be gone from my phone. I randomly hooked it up to 224 (I think that is where it was) and it is working when the lights are on. Just wondering if there is a better spot. Obviously, having it on all the time is a waste during the day. If there is a spot that is powered on when the park lights are powered, that would be ideal. Then it would be on at night and when you unlock the vehicle with the rest of my exterior lighting package. Right now, the star is light when the vehicle is started and headlights are on, but not with the park lights when the vehicle is unlocked. That seems like an over sight and always bothered me. I saw a thread about wiring it into the wire harness at the headlight. I can do that, but I am not sure it bothers me that much.
Thanks
